Sara Ramos
SCSIODERV
Graduated in Optics and Optometry from the University of Granada in 2011, where she completed a Master's in Advanced Optometry and Contactology.
Sara was not satisfied enough as she wanted to reach the largest number of people possible with vision problems that interfered in one way or another with their quality of life.
For this reason, she continued his education, finding answers to his questions in Visual Therapy and Behavioral Optometry, having completed a Clinical Master's in Optometry and Visual Therapy at the International Optometry Center in Madrid and culminating this training with the International Course of high specialization in Behavioral Optometry and Visual Therapy at Sanet-Vergara Vision Seminars.
In these years, she realized the essential nature of collaboration among different professionals, having trained in the relationship between posture and vision, and she currently is part of the faculty for this training in the course "University Expert in Clinical Posturology" at UCAM.
As a good clinician, she wanted to be able to put into practice everything she had learned without restrictions, which is why six years ago she opened his own center in La Línea, along with her sister, a dentist, Clínica Vide.
Sara has focused on children with difficulties in academic performance due to vision issues, amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus, special population patients, and patients who have suffered an acquired brain injury.
Sara is part of the board of directors of SIODERV, and she defines herself as passionate about the profession and the global model of understanding the human being, which has led her to work with teams of different professionals.
Her best role, that of a mother.
