With 20 years of experience in optics, contact lens laboratories, and ophthalmological centers, I specialize in fitting and personalized care for irregular cornea, orthokeratology, and myopia control. I conduct my research work within the Ocupharm Diagnostic research group.


Currently, I collaborate on different research projects about contact lenses, myopia, and the cornea.

The conference will delve into the guidelines and scientific evidence regarding the use of contact lenses in the pediatric population. It will address the clinical benefits, specific indications, types of lenses available (including orthokeratology and lenses for myopia control), and strategies for their safe management.


Among the specific objectives of this conference are: to identify the cases in which contact lenses are the best option for children, to review the available types (such as orthokeratology, soft lenses, and gas permeable lenses), and to provide strategies for educating parents and patients, as well as clinical follow-up.
