MAIN CONFERENCE
A clinical approach for prescribing yoked prisms

The twin prisms can be prescribed and applied in various visual dysfunctions, either as a compensatory or therapeutic tool.

The alteration of perceived space through the twin prisms can manifest consciously or unconsciously in body posture and egocentric localization.

The choice of the appropriate pair of twin prisms is based on multiple factors, combining the available neuromuscular tone, binocular vision, and spatial perception. This presentation will attempt to provide a model for understanding the potential effect of twin prisms, as well as clinical tips for their effective application.
