What do I need to do to become a Clinical Associate of SIODEC?

At SIODEC we believe that it is very important that professionals who practice Vision Therapy have a minimum level of training and experience that guarantees the excellence and quality of their work.

Therefore, SIODEC has created the category of Clinical Associate as a way of certifying professionals practising in the fields of Behavioural Optometry and Vision Therapy.

SIODEC guarantees that Clinical Associates have certifiable training and clinical experience in these areas.

To qualify for this status, amongst other requirements, applicants are required to present and successfully complete a clinical case study. SIODEC provides the applicant with a mentor to help guide them through this process.

SIODEC also has a Review Panel made up of highly specialised professionals that meticulously review and correct each case and either approve or disapprove its suitability.
